TaskLeaders Network Inc. is a referral and lead-connection service that connects clients with vetted local service providers across Canada. References to "TaskLeaders," "we," "us," or "our" in this Policy refer to the TaskLeaders platform and its operators.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register, submit an application, or contact us, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address, phone number
• Role or profession (e.g., realtor, property manager, homeowner)
• Company or brokerage name
• Service request details (location, area, timing)
• Trade category, base rates, bio, and work photos (Service Providers)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We collect basic technical data through standard server logs, including:

• Pages visited, device type, and browser
• Form submission metadata (timestamps, referral source)

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Communications processed through WhatsApp Business API (via Twilio and Meta) may result in metadata being collected by those platforms in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, including:

• Matching qualified Service Providers to Client requests
• Facilitating communication between Clients and Service Providers
• Onboarding Service Providers to the network
• Sending service status updates and confirmations
• Conducting post-job satisfaction checks
• Tracking performance metrics (response time, reliability score)
• Improving user experience
• Meeting legal obligations

TaskLeaders does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as necessary to operate the Platform:

4.1 With Service Providers and Clients

When a lead is assigned, relevant contact and job details are shared between the matched Client and Service Provider to facilitate the service connection.

4.2 With Technology and Infrastructure Partners

We work with the following third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:

• WhatsApp Business API — messaging facilitation (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
• Twilio, Inc. — communications infrastructure
• Supabase, Inc. — database and backend infrastructure
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing
• GitHub Pages — website hosting

4.3 Cross-Border Data Storage

Some of our third-party service providers store and process data outside of Canada, including in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers maintain appropriate security standards.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of TaskLeaders, our users, or the public.

5. Payment Information

TaskLeaders uses Stripe, Inc. to process payments. TaskLeaders does not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS compliance standards. By submitting payment, you agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Service Provider profiles and performance data are retained for the duration of the provider relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for recordkeeping purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 8).

7. Cookies and Tracking

The TaskLeaders website does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies for advertising or analytics purposes. Basic server logs may be collected as part of standard web infrastructure operation.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information (subject to legal or contractual limitations)
• Request deletion of your personal information where we are not legally required to retain it

9. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. WhatsApp and Messaging

Our Concierge and lead dispatch services operate primarily through WhatsApp Business API. Messages sent through WhatsApp are subject to Meta Platforms, Inc.'s privacy practices. We use Twilio, Inc. to facilitate these communications on our behalf. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by contacting us. Operational messages related to active service requests are considered essential and cannot be opted out of while using the Platform.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our Platform, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
